Once at The Landings at Chama you will be within driving distance of four national parks. Three scenic natural forests surround Chama Valley - Carson, Rio Grande and Santa Fe. In the near vicinity are 3 state wildlife areas - Humphries, sargent and Rio Chama - plus two parks two important lakes. Beautiful Heron Lake is host to water activities of all sorts allowing you the opportunity to sail into the sunset.. El Vado Lake is great for water skiing and motor boating. Nothing will excite the senses greater than Ghost Ranch Living Museum, located near Abiquiu a tiny town on a bend of the Rio Chama, most remembered as the home of artist Georgia O’Keeffe.

The Landings at Chama is 12 miles south of Colorado Border lies approximately 80 minutes north of Santa Fe. Pagosa Springs Colorado famous for it therapeutic Hot Springs lies north within 50 minutes. Taos is 65 minutes. A private airstrip capable of private jet landing is located in Dulcet, NM, and a 30 minute drive. The Landings of Chama is nestled near the Carson National Forest and historic Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Located off Highway 84 between Santa Fe and the pagosa springs/farmington area.
